About me

GET TO KNOW A BIT MORE ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Madi

I’m a birth and postpartum doula with a heart for walking alongside mothers and families through pregnancy, birth, and the tender weeks that follow.

My journey as a doula began while serving families in South Asia, and I’m now grateful to bring that experience to families here in Central Illinois.

I believe birth is sacred — deeply physical, emotional, and spiritual. My role is not to tell you how your birth should look, but to help you feel informed, supported, and confident as you make decisions that reflect your values and the needs of your family.

Whether you’re preparing for birth, navigating an unexpected turn in labor, or adjusting to life with a newborn, I bring a calm and steady presence to the room.

My Approach to Care

SUPPORT THAT HONORS THE WHOLE PERSON

My care brings together practical birth knowledge, physical comfort, emotional reassurance, and spiritual support when desired.

Informed Support
Helping you understand your options so you can make decisions with greater confidence.

Physical Comfort
Breathing, positioning, movement, counterpressure, massage, and other comfort measures tailored to your labor.

Emotional Presence
A calm, consistent person beside you through the intensity and uncertainty of birth and postpartum.

Prayerful Support
For families who desire it, I’m honored to incorporate prayer, meditation, and spiritual encouragement into our time together.

What Matters to Me

♡ Birth that respects your voice and values
♡ Mothers feeling heard, informed, and supported
♡ Partners being included and empowered
♡ Nourishing and protecting the postpartum season
♡ Care that considers body, mind, and spirit

“My hope is that you feel supported enough to trust your body, informed enough to understand your options, and cared for enough to enter birth and motherhood knowing you do not have to navigate it alone.”
